VIZIO Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer Announced

VIZIO has announced the VSB210WS soundbar with wireless subwoofer. The VSB210WS features four 3” mid/bass drivers and a single 1″ tweeter for each channel. Toss in a wireless 6.5″ subwoofer and easy install and VIZIO might have something with this system.
Most soundbars suffer from weak bass performance. VIZIO’s solution is pretty novel and doesn’t impact the ease of setup these solutions have to offer. VIZIO has gone with a 2.4GHz wireless subwoofer that connects to the soundbar automatically. Otherwise the system needs just a single connection to the TV.
The VSB210WS also features SRS TruSurround for virtual surround sound and utilizes SRS Labs’ TruVolume, which prevents extreme volume fluctuations commonly seen during commercials and while changing channels.
The VIZIO VSB210WS soundbar will be available in January 2009, for an MSRP of $349.99.

My brother gave me the Wal-Mart soundbar 2.0, designed after the Vizio soundbar but with no subwoofer, as a birthday gift and I absolutely love it. And the best part of it is that it only cost $149.
