VIZIO VSB210WS Sound Bar Shipping

In December VIZIO announced a sound bar with wireless subwoofer, all for under $350. The VIZIO VSB210WS Sound Bar is now shipping and promises to drive great sound through several SRS technologies through six sound bar speakers and one 6.5″ wireless subwoofer.

The VSB210WS will be easy to set up. It requires just one cable to connect to a television and one to plug it into the wall. The subwoofer works over the 2,4GHz band and pairs with the sound bar automatically. It remains to be seen what the sound quality is like, we’re still waiting for our review unit from VIZIO, but for $350, the package is pretty compelling.
I bought one of these systems to go with my vizio TV. I was really excited for it to be released to buy. I recieived the first one, which was defective. The soundbar just made snapping noises. Vizio sent me a new system, then just shipped my old back. I set the second up, watched half of a movie, and the speakers blew out. Now the system doesn’t work. Soo disappointed…gonna have to send another back…
