Epson debuted their Ensemble HD systems months ago and they’re finally starting to ship. The high-end systems differentiate themselves by including a 100″ motorized screen, surround sound, DVD player and Epson’s latest 720p or 1080p projectors.
The Ensemble HD Home Cinema System features:
-
Epson’s PowerLite 3LCD high definition projector with either true 1080p native resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) or 720p option
-
100″ motorized screen that quietly lowers and retracts within the front channel ceiling mounted speaker system
-
Audio/video controller with integrated upconverting DVD player
-
Atlantic Technology speaker system and a proprietary 150-watt subwoofer containing all 5.1 channels of amplification
-
Universal remote that controls the entire system including the motorized screen
-
Includes all cables, with cable track system, and mounting brackets
The Ensemble HD Home Cinema System 720 features the 720p projector and retails for $4,999. The Ensemble HD Home Cinema System 6100 ($6999) and 6500 UB ($7,999) include the higher-end 1080p projectors.
While not exactly budget systems, they are supposed to be easy to set up and include everything you’d want, with the exception of Blu-ray. We give Epson credit for creating these unique bundles that will appeal to someone wanting to create that home entertainment room with quality parts and ease of install in mind.
