Is it possible to hook up your own speakers for surround sound or do you have to use what comes with the "box"?

John, I haven't studied the specs on the Yamahas, but I think it's likely the bandwidth necessary for movies that is limiting. Sending movie files wirelessly, not to mention BluRay!, will usually not give you a satisfactory experience.

I read this quote in the description "The YMC-700’s WiFi compatibility allows it to wirelessly play back content from PCs, laptops and audio files stored on hard drives. "

I wonder why only "audio" files stored on hard drives are referenced and not video files such as movies?

Will the neoHD play movies from a hard drive?
