Netgear is now shipping their versatile Home Theater Internet Connection Kit (XAVB1004). The kit lets users connect multiple Ethernet-based home theater devices like Blu-ray players, media boxes, and game consoles, to their home network. The kit supports four devices and comes with a powerline adapter for easy wired setup with your current network.

The Home Theater Internet Connection Kit makes it very easy to manage all of the Internet-connected devices in your home theater. Adding a new device is as simple as connecting an Ethernet cord. The fact that it’s a fast 10/100 switch means transferring data over the network will be a breeze. This is also the the first 4-port powerline switch to use the Intellon 6400 chipset, which provides higher performance than any existing 4-port powerline switch on the market.
