Brite-View CinemaTube Media Player Available Now

Brite-View has their new CinemaTube 1080p HD media box available for pre-order now, with a nice $30 discount if you move quickly. Similar to the Western Digital TV, the CinemaTube does the basic media playback from connected devices, but it also offers YouTube streaming and a built-in torrent engine for sharing and downloading media files form the Web.

The CinemaTube can play files that are connected locally via USB storage, or on networked computers. It supports all the file types you’d want, including:

Video formats in VCD 1.0/2.0, SVCD, MPEG1 (DAT/MPG/MPEG), MPEG2 (MPG/MPEG/VOB/ISO/IFO/TS/TP)/M2TS, MPEG4 (MP4/AVI/MOV) , DivX 3/4/5/6, Xvid (AVI/MKV), H.264/AVC (TS/AVI/MKV/MOV)/M2TS, VC-1 (TS/AVI/MKV/WMV)/M2TS, WMV9 (WMV), FLV, Real Video 8/9/10 (RM/RMVB * up to 720p); multiple Audio formats including DTS and Dolby Digital.

With the CinemaTube you get HD media playback, YouTube streaming and access to torrents, if you’re into that. There are several options in this space right now, but for the pre-order price of $99(or even full retail of $129), there’s no way to beat the CinemaTube.
