Netgear faces a much more crowded space though with the Digital Entertainer Live; with everyone from Kodak to Western Digital involved, along with a dozen other smaller companies.

The Digital Entertainer Live hopes to set itself apart form the crowd by supporting the most popular Internet streaming sources and by being easy to setup and operate. The former looks to be addressed with a lengthy list of content partners out of the gate. The usability promises to be solid as well, with a ”plug in and go” setup and simple remote control.

Aside from the streaming and networked content sources (via Ethernet port), the EVA2000 offers two USB ports that users can connect drives to for media playback. On the output side, the EVA2000 has both HDMI output and composite cable. Full specs here (PDF).
