Roku Player Adding Porn

There’s no other way to say it…the Roku player is adding porn to it’s channel offering. About a month ago Roku opened up their hardware platform by adding nearly a dozen content providers – mainstream providers you know, like Pandora and Facebook. Now they’re using their content network to deliver the “other” kind of content, porn, via EroticVision.TV. If nothing else, perhaps Roku owners will buy a second unit for the bedroom?

EroticVision.TV allows users to “enjoy adult content on a television without hooking a PC directly to it.” In this case they’ll use the Roku player to do the heavy lifting. For Roku owners, you’ll just need an EroticVision.TV account to get it up (sorry).

Of course the Roku player is discreet, using the parental controls to shield this new content from those it’s not intended for.

So there you have it, the first content provider to offer porn streaming on demand via the Roku player. This certainly opens the floodgates for more content providers to give it up via Roku.
