Slingbox 700U

The Slingbox 700U is an ultra-slim device that adds HD Slingbox capability to any compatible set-top box over USB. It is the smallest Slingbox produced to date and will be first offered by DISH Network. It will be a low-cost add-on for television service providers thanks to its USB connection and self configuration. The device is powered by USB as well so only one cord goes in and out of the box.

It features a 15.6-inch 720p display with built-in stereo speakers and a folding stand for counter/wall-mounted use. It features 802.11n wireless and supports WEP/WPA/WPA2 wireless security.

The Sling Receiver 300 is a companion product for the company’s SlingLoaded set-top box designed to stream 1080i video from an HD DVR to any other HDTV in the home over the home wireless network. This eliminates the need for an additional DVR or more wires. The Sling Receiver 300 connects to the second TV via its HDMI port, component or composite video connectors.

It communicates with HD DVRs and other SlingGuide-enabled devices over the Internet on home wireless networks or via infrared.
