Kodak has a new wireless HD media streaming box which actually has several compelling features that help it stand out in an increasingly crowded space. The Kodak Theater HD has a new YouTube player that allows for full screen HD viewing, Net Video access, digital picture viewer and Café, an online content dashboard for news, weather and the like. And of course it also handles a wide variety of digital formats and codecs including Divx and xvid, H.264 and WMV-9.
Onkyo HT-S7200 and HT-S6200 Home Theater Systems Released

Onkyo has released two new 7.1-channel home theater in a box systems. The HT-S7200 and HT-S6200 both include AV receivers with 1080p-compatible HDMI inputs, 130 watts-per-channel, and Onkyo’s U-Port iPod dock. Unfortunately Onkyo still doesn’t bundle an optical player, so buyers of this system will have to add a DVD player of their choice to both systems. These two systems replace the HT-S7100 and HT-S6100 which were released about a year ago.
Samsung HT-BD3252 Bu-ray HTiB Announced

Samsung seems to be executing the market saturation strategy with their home theater in a box lineup. Already with half a dozen systems announced this year, Samsung is rolling out another, yes a fourth Blu-ray home theater system, the HT-BD3252. The 5.1 system features 1000 watts of total power, wireless rear speakers and an included USB WiFi dongle to enable easy access to streaming content from Netflix, Blockbuster and Pandora.
Mitsubishi to Give Away Vudu Media Streaming Boxes

Starting tomorrow, Mitsubishi will give away a Vudu streaming box for free with a qualifying Mitsubishi high definition display purchase. The deal also comes with a $50 Vudu credit, which is good toward video downloads which run from $1.99 for TV episodes to $20 for some new release movies.
